At Maison Lesage, Beauty Embroidered By Hand by Susan Stamberg
Maison Lesage, a Parisian embroidery firm that works closely with many couture houses, was featured on NPR Morning Edition today.

Early this spring, Carin, a textile designer at Free People and a Philadelphia University alumni, spent a day doing print research in The Design Center’s archives. Here is Free People’s new Printed Lacey Knit Tank inspired by a sample from the Parisian firm Bourdon, Lengendre and Co. from January 1901.
